I have that exact NVidia Adapter. Turns out the fans were never set to go to the higher speed until the trigger temp to Halt the CPU. I have the same question 0.

There was still an exclamation point in device manager after that update, at any rate, and also after I downloaded the driver from here. They will accept a Hotmail address as a valid email and it’s free.
There’s no driver to roll back to and when I uninstalled it and then restarted my computer, it reinstalled but the exclamation point is still there. In your request for help.
It may not be fixable by software. Often the “newest” hasn’t been used in the field long enough for the bugs to surface. Do I have to select ‘delete the software driver from this device’ before reinstalling? To be honest I don’t know what it said when the screen resolution was correct, it’s just something I noticed while trying to the display settings.
HP Business Support Center and download the original drivers that came with the machine. There’s no hesitation signing up for the HP forum, I just honestly didn’t notice there was a forum section Thanks for directing me toward it.

My display will only work on HP enabled displays. The newest driver is not always the best.

This site in other languages x. In reply to A. Sorry to say but if nothing turns up there I have a feeling you might have to revert to Out Of The Box condition. Most of the people there are long time HP users. I don’t have a system restore point to roll back, too, should anyone suggest that.
